The first destination for Lassai was the theatre. That led them to study Musical Theatre at The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University. Post graduation, Lassai quickly began to immerse themselves in the Chicago Theatre community. Appearing in Productions at Lifeline Theatre, Porchlight Music Theatre, The Little Theatre On The Square, Northlight Theatre, Paramount Theatre, Otherworld Theatre Co, Oak Park Festival Theatre and The Windy City Playhouse. After appearing in Paramount Theatre’s Regional Premier production of “Kinky Boots” Lassai decided to make the move to New York City, where they currently reside.

Lassai collaborated with CONNER on “Play. Pause. Rewind” EP.
As Lassai’s acting career began to take motion, Lassai also began writing, recording music, and studying voice. On March 31st, 2018, Lassai released their debut indie EP “WATER + BIRTH”, a Alt-R&B and Bedroom Pop ocean of exploration of Lassai’s spiritual and sexual identity.
In the fall of 2019, Lassai released their EP “Discreet" to critical acclaim. “Discreet” a three song mid-tempo EP, dives deeper into the complex world of queer intimacy.
Fall of 2020, Lassai released their 10 track mixtape “Wonderland” - click the image to listen + purchase <3
One year after moving NYC - Lassai released their visual EP “IMMORTAL” which received distribution by Chicago’s esteemed OTV network and was shown in SoMad.NYC’s “(UN)FIXED” Summer Exhibit.
